Since 1972 Intercity has been providing home care to people
who need help. We are an independent, community based agency. We also
provide staffing to Visiting Nurse Associations and to the State Home
Care Corporations. Our staff works with physicians, patients, family
and friends to provide effective and safe care in the comfort of your
home. We have a reputation for quality, honesty, reliability, and
compassion. With our convenient locations, and a carefully screened and
specially trained staff, we are ready to meet your home care needs.

If you need information about homemaker services, an Intercity staff
member is on call to answer your questions. Our services are available
24 hours a day, 7 days week.
Services
Homemakers perform general housekeeping duties, such as cooking, laundry, cleaning and shopping. Homemakers complete a 40 hours training program.
Personal Care Homemakers do the same services as Homemakers but also help with walking, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. They complete 60 hours of classroom and hands-on training.
Certified Home Health Aides complete 75 hours of training. They work with people who need more extensive help with most of their daily activities, including personal care. A registered nurse or therapist closely supervises home health aide activities.
Companions provide the care that neighbor or friend would provide if they were available. Companions will make a light meal, do an errand, assist with letter writing, and read to a disabled person.
Intercity Grocer is a division of Intercity Home Care. The service provides grocery shopping and delivery to individuals in their homes. Orders are placed over the phone on your assigned delivery day. Groceries are delivered in a refrigerated vehicle or stored with cold packs. Delivery drivers can assist with heavy and refrigerated items. Payment is collected at delivery time; a register receipt accompanies all orders. Payment options are Cash, Check,, Prepayment, EBT card or Automatic deduction from your bank account.
Intercity offers a Laundry pick up service with full wash, dry and fold. Please contact us to see if this service is available in your area.
